His current research interests include: 1)\u00a0Organization theories (resource dependence, power and institutional process); 2)Corporate strategies (antecedents of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures); 3)Social networks (outcomes of embeddedness); 4)International business (foreign market expansion, state ownership).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Xia received his\u00a0PhD from Texas Tech University (2006), his MBA from Xavier University and his bachelor degree from East China Shipbuilding Institute.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Xia\u00a0is a Research Fellow of GBIC.
