Dr. Li is a Research Fellow at GBIC. She is also an Associate Professor at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, and a member of the College for New Scholars, Scientists, and Artists at Royal Society of Canada. She earned her PhD in 2004 from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Dr. Li is Canada Research Chair in Global Investment Strategy and the Associate Director of the Jack Austin Center for Asia Pacific Business Studies. Her research interests include international investment strategies of firms, emerging market multinational enterprises, and management of international joint ventures. Dr. Li has published over 30 articles in various international business and strategy journals and sits on the editorial review boards of multiple journals. She also serves as Senior Editor for Management and Organization Review and occasionally provides consulting services for companies and government agencies.
